A lot of hype has come forth about A Game of Thrones
- True Heroes
- I am the kind of person that always loves to read about a hero that is true to the ideals of Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. I am realistic in that not all heroes are genuine and pure like they would have you believe, but I love that they try. Game of Thrones is not at a loss for heroes just as they are not at a loss for villains either.
- A Little Magic
- A little bit of magic goes a long way. I don't always want to read a story that is set in a realistic time. I want for the hero of my story to have to struggle a little bit in order to save the world. Magic is just the thing to put a wrench in my hero's agenda.
- Tragic Love
- I am a sucker for a good love story. I'm not a big fan of those lovey dovey, goo-goo eyed stories; but I like to see when love doth prevail. I enjoy a story, even though I may cry, when love is portrayed as a reality and may not win in the end.
- Points of View
- Every chapter takes a different character's point of view. Some people may not like that, but I love it. I love being able to have an almost omnipotent view over the various situations in the story. This comes in handy as there are SO many different thing happening all at once.
