Monday Made It - Index Card Calendar

Pretty excited to be actually participating in this week's Monday Made it with 4th Grade Frolics!  Since I hadn't been able to get into my classroom until last week, I'd been Pinteresting-around (naturally) and decided to actually make one of the pins!

I actually made that index card calendar that we keep seeing pop up!  It was pretty fun.  Thanks to my husband and my obsession with Google Calendar, I was able to back date all the way to 2010.  It was fun to take a look at some of the things we did that I had completely forgotten about.

I ended up buying an index card holder that holds 3x as many index cards as I need right now.  My hope is that I'll keep this journal of sorts going for a very long time.  If my future kids are any where near as nostalgic as I am, they will LOVE this.

I am quazi thinking about redoing the cards and gussying them up a bit.  Making them a bit cuter.  We'll see how enthusiastic I am later.  It took me two days to finish this one!

Wow, I'm impressed that you could go back that far and kept it in a Google calendar. Great idea!

I've nominated you for a Liebster Award. You can get more information on how to accept the nomination at my site.

I haven't figured out how to hyperlink on comments yet.

I LOVE your blog name! I have such a hard time transitioning to Google Calendar. I'm techy in everything else in my life, but I can't bring myself to switch over completely from a paper calendar. Everyone at my school teases me about it and threaten to take my paper calendar away from me. I have to hide it!
