I am currently working on my eighth year of teaching. After teaching Middle School for 5 years, I've moved to 3rd - 5th grade math. I have taught every subject (literally), but truly love teaching math.
I have my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Master's degree in Curriculum Development and Assessment. I am also nearly done with my second Mater's degree, this time in Administration.
I have learned, during my journey as a teacher, that teaching truly isn't scripted. We have our Lesson Plans; we have our Backup Plans; we even have resources telling us exactly what to say! Even with all of that, nothing can ever tell us exactly what will be on the script on any given day in the classroom.
