A new tool that I've been trying out with my class is called Socrative.  It is a website that allows me to have the students take their assessments online so that I, and they, can have instant feedback.

I love that there are so many different options available to me....and that it's my favorite price: FREE!

I can have students complete 'ticket out the doors' without killing a million trees, I can have students take tests, I can have students answer quick 'check for understanding' questions.  It's all fairly simple to set up and understand.

The only kicker is you have to have computers, or portable devices, available to every student.  I've so far only used this with desktops as we don't have tablets at my school.  I've used MY tablet to monitor the students' progress, but that everything still works great.

Defiantly worth the shout out.
