Differentiate....Why?

I.1 I teach and/or encourage others to teach using differentiated instructional strategies and a variety of assessment strategies that encourage higher order thinking and are supported by current research.
This is one of the modules I had to write about in my portfolio for my Master's degree.  We had to take a class that was wholly devoted to Differentiated Instruction so it was fairly easy for me as I truly did enjoy that class.  Because of what I learned, I can say that the quality of my teaching has skyrocketed.

I have found that Differentiating Instruction is something that I wish I had become comfortable with a long time ago.  Because of all the work I now put into my class, my students flourish.

Throughout this blog, I have/will speak about the various things I do in order to Differentiate my classroom.  I hope that somehow I will be able to encourage someone to take on the challenge.  After all, it's because of a blog that I dove in and started to master Differentiation.
