Washington DC: Arlington National Cemetery

You cannot visit Washington DC without paying your respects to the men and women who literally gave their all for our country.

There really are no words for everything that is Arlington National Cemetery.  I am glad that we went and saw what we did.  I appreciate everything those men and women did for me and am glad that they have such a well deserved resting place.

I cannot say that JFK was one of my favorite presidents, but there is no denying just how much of an influence he had on our country.  I've seen the eternal flame twice now, and it still amazes me just as much; everything it stands for.

The thought alone of what these Marines do to honor the Unknown Soldiers gives me goosebumps.  Actually witnessing the changing of the guard leaves me straight up speechless.
